1.0 Introduction and Background

Named after astronaut Susan Still Kilrain, Project Kilrain aims to land kerbals on the surface of Duna and return them safely. It is tentatively planned for the late year 7 / early year 8 transfer window, but will depend on the success of earlier missions.

This project is modelled after fast transit human missions to Mars.
