​Our first liquid-fuelled rocket, Javelin I is intended to leave the atmosphere.

Waiting on the pad.

Liftoff was nominal.

The ascent proceeded according to plan.

After MECO the rocket continued coasting through the atmosphere.

Once out of the atmosphere, the fairing was jettisoned.

Unfortunately, due to a software glitch, the stage failed to separate and no scientific measurements were taken. The rocket re-entered and crashed into the surface.
