Place satellite into specified orbit around Kerbin
Another thermal satellite for cash...
Previously, the launch software for each satellite was custom-designed for its specific orbit. Beginning with the launch of ROKSAT I, this has been simplified such that only the orbital parameters need to be changed for each launch.
Year 2, Day 196: ROKSAT I
Initial insertion burn.
Unfortunately, due to a software glitch, the satellite failed to reach the desired orbit before exhausting its fuel.
Year 2, Day 219: ROKSAT II
With the glitch fixed, ROKSAT II was able to properly raise its apoapsis.
One final 35m/s burn was all that was needed to reach the intended orbit.
