Launch R5-004: Lucid Alpha (Kerbin Orbital Station)

Year 2, day 403.
Project: Lucid.
Mission Objectives:

In preparation for sending kerbals on long-duration missions to Mun and Minmus, this station will provide a testbed for new technologies.

Liftoff!

Nominal stage separation.

Fairing jettison.

Coasting to apo.

A quick circularization burn puts the station in a 125km x 125km orbit.

Once in orbit, the station's solar panels are deployed and it begins systems checks.

Mission Summary:

The Rules

Rocket launches must be fully automated using kOS and SmartParts.
Launch vehicles must have self-contained guidance, and not rely on payloads.
Long-duration, non-cryogenic stages must use low-efficiency engines to simulate hypergolic fuels.
Crewed vehicles must be flight-certified before they carry any crew.
Crewed vehicles may not use SRBs.
AntennaRange / USI LS (in K.I.A. mode) will be used.
Missions must be progressive:
1. Uncrewed before crewed.
2. Suborbital/flyby before orbital.
3. Orbital before landing.
Launches are permitted every 23 days on Kerbin.
