Launch 1-1: Tereshkova 1

Mission Objectives:

1. ​Achieve suborbital flight.
2. Safely recover capsule.

This is basically a test mission to verify the design meets our safety requirements for crewed flight.

Rocket: Tereshkova I

Liftoff of our new space program!

MECO occurs pretty low, but the craft has enough vertical velocity to reach space.

Tracking data verifies the craft will reach space.

The rocket separates from the capsule before re-entering.

Mission Summary:

2. Safely recover capsule: success!

Project Status: successful completion.
