Year 3, Day 46.
Project: Whitson. Mission Objectives:
Crew: This is our first crewed mission to a station, paving the way for future stations around Mun and Minmus. Year 3, day 23.
Project: Godwin. Mission Objectives:
The purpose of this mission is to flight-qualify a rocket with a smaller crewed stage, more appropriate for docking with stations above Kerbin. It will be an automated test flight. Year 2, day 403.
Project: Whitson. Mission Objectives:
It's time to expand our research capabilities, with the first step being a small station around Kerbin. Year 2, day 311.
Project: Resnik. Mission Objectives:
Before launching crew in a new vessel, it might be qualified for crewed flight. The first part is performing a test of its launch escape system, which will jettison the capsule from the rocket in the event of an emergency during ascent. Year 2, day 196.
Project: Ivins. Mission Objectives:
The next step in preparing for our crewed moon landings is to map out the biomes in Mun and Minmus. First, we want to test this satellite by launching it around Kerbin. Year 2, day 58.
Project: Ivins. Mission Objectives:
This will be our first SCANsat satellite. Additional satellites will be deployed to Mun and Minmus, and eventually other planets as well. Year 1, day 346.
Project: Godwin. Mission Objectives:
Samrine was on a classified mission which suffered an unrecoverable anomaly. We are to rescue her. Year 1, day 185.
Project: Ivins. Mission Objectives:
We've placed tail fins at the back of this rocket, even though we've had several successful launches without them. If the margins are that close anyway, it's not worth the risk. The weather is also more fair today, in case upper level winds were responsible. Year 1, day 93.
Project: Godwin. Mission Objectives:
Crew: Valentina (Pilot) Another requirement of our program is that the first crewed flight of a ship be commanded by a pilot, in case they need to take control due to a problem. Year 1, day 70.
Project: Godwin. Mission Objectives:
Before we launch crew into space with a new rocket, it must be qualified by successfully completing an uncrewed test flight. This helps to ensure the safety of our precious crew. Year 1, day 47.
Project: Ivins. Mission Objectives:
Our guidance team has upgraded our flight control software and we are ready to go orbital. Year 1, day 28.
Project: Mukai. Mission Objectives:
Remote Crew: Jebediah (Pilot) Our atmospheric and orbital flight teams had dinner together last night, and it occurred to them to attach a probe to a Kondakova plane for missions that don't actually require crew. Why not? Year 1, day 27.
Project: Kondakova. Mission Objectives:
Crew: Jebediah (Pilot) This is the first flight of the Kondakova II. Two engines were removed to allow for a thermometer. Year 1, Day 26.
Project: Kondakova Mission Objectives:
Crew: Jebediah (Pilot) Year 1, day 25.
Project: Kondakova Mission Objectives:
Crew: Jebediah (Pilot) While our engineers prepare for our first orbital mission, Jebediah will be performing some test flights. Year 1, day 24.
Mission Objectives:
Crew: Bob (Scientist) Bob threw together a little jet car to take around KSC to perform experiments at the various buildings in order to speed up our progress. Year 1, Day 1.
Project: Tereshkova Mission Objectives:
This is basically a test mission to verify the design meets our safety requirements for crewed flight. Year 1, day 24.
Project: Savitskaya Mission Objectives:
Crew: Valentina (Pilot) This will be our first crewed launch. It is nearly equivalent to Tereshkova 1. |
