The long wait is finally over, we are sending Kerbals to Mun.

Mission Objectives:

Qualify Resnik I rocket for crewed flight to Mun.

Although we have run countless simulated launches, we need to perform an actual launch and re-entry to qualify the rocket for crewed flight.

Launch 2-12: Sharman 5

Mission Objectives:

Place satellite in equatorial orbit of Mun.

We have a couple of satellite contracts to complete, one to Mun and one to Minmus. These will help us update our tracking station which we may need in order to communicate with Baker 2.

Launch 2-10: Sharman 4

Launch satellite into 250km polar orbit of Mun.
Perform biome scan of Mun.

With the successful biome scan of Kerbin, we are ready to do the same around Mun.

Launch 2-7: Sharman 3

Deploy satellite into polar Mun orbit.
Perform altimetry scan of Mun.

This is a replacement for the failed Sharman 2 mission.

This is an identical rocket and probe to Ivins 5, going to Mun instead. This is why the upper stage for that launch was a little overpowered.

Launch 1-18: Sharman 1

Project: Sharman.
Mission Objectives:

Place probe in orbit of Mun.

After a couple of interplanetary transfer windows, it's time to return to exploring the Kerbin system by placing a satellite in orbit of Mun.

This is the same rocket and probe design launched for Seddon 1 and Seddon 2.

Launch 1-10: Ride 1

Project: Ride.
Mission Objectives:

Fly by Mun.
Leave Kerbin SOI.

The Ride I rocket should be sufficient to complete Project Seddon, our first extra planetary flyby. This launch will ensure we're ready when the transfer window comes up later this year.
