Launch 2-14: Resnik 1

Project: Resnik.
Mission Objectives:

1. ​Qualify Resnik I rocket for crewed flight to Mun.

Although we have run countless simulated launches, we need to perform an actual launch and re-entry to qualify the rocket for crewed flight.

With our upgraded flight control software, we can launch rockets with a higher thrust-to-weight ratio.

Approaching maximum dynamic pressure.

MECO occurs at an altitude of 24km.

And the LES is jettisoned.

After SECO at 50km, the solar panels are deployed.

Mun rises as Resnik 1 passes over KSC during its trans-Mun injection.

The experiment bay doors are testing in preparation for the crewed mission.

After passing by the far side of Mun, Resnick 1 begins its return to Kerbin.

The capsule begins its reentry test.

The capsule survived its landing.

Mission Summary:
