Year 4, Day 271.
Mission Objectives:

1. Deploy satellite into synchronous orbit around Minmus.

Payload: ScanSAT

Upper stage: Spark III

Payload stage: Ant I

First stage and boosters: Swivel-Hammer

Booster sep.

Altitude 15km.

Coasting to apo. Antenna and solar panels have failed to deploy.

Fortunately, we were able to re-establish communications after the satellite reached orbit, and deploy the primary antenna.

Go for trans-Minmus injection.

A series of four burns will place the satellite into the desired orbit.

Why does the contract require a scanner if it can't be used in this orbit?

In its final orbit, with all three Kerbin bodies visible.
